As someone who lived in the Netherlands for a year or so, I still remember the first time I tried Dutch Liquorice and how shocked I was not to find it tasting like our Liquorice in the UK! Over the months of trying one here and there, I got to enjoying them taste and after hearing other customers who have experienced the same, decided to stock them in our pier kiosk!
